Hmm.. Do you need the CMD+Option+Control+8 trick to invert the colors on your screen? Great for days when you're running low on battery and want to turn your display all the way down while still being able to see during the day.

You have preempted my noob-ity which is forthcoming, once I actually manage to go out and get that Mac! Like you, I tend to use my mouse with my laptop and would have never tried two fingers on the pad. This is just my speed! Thanks in advance, from a noob-ier noob.

This is crazy. I've had my Mac for months. I just assumed you couldn't do any of these things with a Mac. I'm so happy now! I will just have to get rid of all the habits I've formed in order to compensate for this missing knowledge!

You can also tap to click on a macbook. You go to System Preferences - Trackpad - Under one finger - Tap to click =D and it also shows you other Two Finger uses.

I had the same prob. Just getting to know the mac and that wasn't intuitive but after reading your article it works great and I am glad to see that it has the scrolling feature and it actually is quite nice the way it works. Don't knock yourself, we all start somewhere, I would have asked the question if you hadn't.

Plus the option to have clicking while two fingers rest on the trackpad for the "right-click' is amazing.
