I also wanted an iPhone like mad and could not believe my parents were making me wait for my birthday to get it. My birthday is next month but my parents decided to bend and let me have it early. I purchased it last Thursday which lucky for me meant my phone was only 6 days old when the cut was announced. AT&T graciously refunded me my money, no questions asked. In the end, I'm glad my parents made me wait or else I'd been screwed.

I can't see the iPhone dropping anymore because then the iPod Touch would have to drop as well, I'd think. They'd have to introduce a newer one.

Bro, I bought an iPhone today. Really, the only reason I waited though was because of my contract with another provider, which conveniently expires next week.

Apple hit it on the head: The iPod touch is for people who don't want to drop their current mobile phone (or don't want one at all), but love the other features the iPhone has. I'm in this group. I'm happy with t-mobile and don't want to pay more for AT&T and their slow-as-cold-tar Edge network.

I've never really cared about video-to-go in such a small format, so the new nano doesn't really affect my thinking. I'm perfectly happy with my 2nd gen nano. If I want to watch video that badly (on a trip, for example) I'll bring my laptop. But that's just me.

Too bad about the price drop for you early adopters, but that's the way the revolving tech door works. Several times I've purchased a Mac and the newest model was introduced a month later. That's life.

Never the iPods, what the hell's with those glossy iMac screens? Thats my sale lost. What were they thinking?

Not totally happy with the new iPods, but the iPhone price drop is great. It means when it finally comes to Canada it'll be considerably cheaper. :P

Now if only Apple had announced a date for it's realease in Canada...
